Paidwen

Billing follows your plan and the events of your journal.

Each plan includes a number of events per month and a time of journal. This page gives the price of the extra events, the cap on your invoice, the limit of the free plan, the free trial and the role of Paddle.

Every plan includes every feature.

An event is one line of the journal: a question your agent asks before an action, or a model call that it reports. Every plan includes the SDKs for TypeScript and Python, rules, permissions, human approval, budgets, incident response, the journal and the audit. Agents and people are unlimited.

A bigger plan costs less for each event.

The paid plans bill the events beyond the included ones, by tranches of 1,000 events, rounded up.

  • Starter: $1 per 1,000 events beyond 100,000.
  • Scale: $0.50 per 1,000 events beyond 1,000,000.
  • Business: $0.30 per 1,000 events beyond 5,000,000.

For example, 600,000 events in a month cost $599 on Starter and $499 on Scale.

Paddle charges the extra events on the first day of the next month, on the card on file.

You set a cap on your own invoice.

On a paid plan, you choose the most a month may cost, plan included. Paidwen never bills an event beyond it.

At the cap, Paidwen stops answering until the next month, and the SDK applies your choice: block or allow. You set the cap in Settings, then Plan. A cap below the price of a month of your plan is refused.

The free plan stops at its limit.

At 10,000 events, Paidwen stops answering until the first day of the next month, in UTC. The SDK then blocks or allows each action, as you chose.

Paidwen emails your admins at 80% and at 100% of the limit. A bigger plan lifts the stop within a second.

A paid plan can start with a free trial.

  • Scale starts with a free trial of 14 days.
  • An organization gets one trial, before its first subscription.
  • Paddle takes the card at the checkout and charges nothing during the trial.
  • The trial bills no event, not even beyond the included ones.
  • At the included events of the plan, Paidwen stops answering, as at the limit of the free plan.
  • The first payment falls at the end of the trial, at the price of the plan.
  • A change of plan during the trial keeps the trial and bills nothing before its end.
  • A trial cancelled in Settings, then Plan, runs to its end without a payment, then your organization moves to the free plan.

A year costs 20% less than twelve months.

Each paid plan is billed monthly or yearly. A yearly plan pays its extra events every month, at the same price per tranche. Its invoice cap counts a twelfth of the yearly price as the price of a month.

Paddle sells the subscriptions.

You pay by card. Paddle is the reseller and merchant of record of every order: it charges the card, collects the taxes and sends the invoices. Prices are in US dollars.

Manage billing, in Settings, then Plan, opens the portal of Paddle, where you change your card and read your invoices.

You change plans or cancel in Settings, then Plan.

A change of plan is prorated: Paddle credits the unused part of the current plan and bills the rest of the period at the price of the new plan. Before you confirm, the dashboard shows the amount due now, the credit and the next payment.

The credit of a downgrade pays the next payments first. The next payment is its amount minus the credit, and never less than zero.

A cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, then your organization moves to the free plan. Moving to the free plan is a cancellation. Until that date, a subscription with a scheduled cancellation changes its plan only after Resume subscription. The refund policy says when a payment is refunded.
