We measured 3 to 4 minutes per pull request on a GitHub-hosted runner, for a public repository. Public repositories run on free minutes.
The standard runner of a private repository has 2 cores instead of 4, so a verification takes longer there. We estimate 8 to 15 minutes per pull request without cache.
A private repository uses the minutes included in your GitHub plan, then GitHub bills $0.006 per minute on a Linux runner with 2 cores, so $0.05 to $0.09 per pull request.
Paidwen never blocks a merge because of the quota.
Above the monthly quota, Paidwen verifies 10 percent more pull requests.
After this 10 percent margin, each new pull request gets a neutral check with a link to change plans. A neutral check never blocks the merge.
